How venues are checked
A venue only appears in search once it is Active, and a listing becomes Active after the Browncord Kenya team has reviewed and approved it. Each venue must have at least one space defined before it can be submitted, and editing a live listing sends it back for approval. Owners can also claim an existing listing, and every claim is approved by an admin. The vendors behind listings go through the document checks explained on how vendor vetting works.
How quotes work
Open a venue, choose a space and send your request with your event details. Your request is recorded as an inquiry, and the venue replies with a quote. You can then accept or decline the quote, and a quote that has expired can no longer be accepted.
How booking works
Accepting a quote confirms the booking. You then pay a deposit, and the remaining balance is held in escrow until the event is completed.
